This highly anticipated event always sells out! Join us in Kearney for this year's Commercial Vehicle Accident Response Exercise presented by the Nebraska Trucking Association (NTA) in collaboration with the NTA Safety Management Council. The exercise takes place on October 14, 2025, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Kearney Fire Department Training Facility in Kearney, Nebraska. 

This year’s mock crash will involve a tractor pulling a tank trailer colliding with a dry van loaded with IBC totes. Both the tank and the totes will be leaking, creating a realistic scenario for participants to assess hazards, observe first responder actions, and learn effective scene management.

The day’s agenda includes:

• Nebraska State Patrol drone demonstration
• Kearney Fire Department’s perspective on arrival and hazard assessment
• Guidance from Nebraska State Patrol on securing accident scenes
• Insights from Marsh McLennan Insurance on liability and risk management
• A defense attorney presentation
• A behind-the-scenes tour of the Kearney Fire Department
