NATMI Safety Certification Program

Description
The Nebraska Trucking Association (NTA) is excited to offer members an opportunity to complete the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI) Certified Safety Supervisor and Certified Safety Director courses. These courses, taught by experienced, trained instructors, are designed to improve the performance and productivity of the professionals directly responsible for effective fleet and driver performance risk managers, safety and security directors, maintenance managers, and commercial driver trainers.
Participants will complete two courses, including Motor Fleet Basics and Managing Motor Fleet Safety Programs, and conclude with a Certification Exam on April 26, 2024. The Motor Fleet Basics Course will offer training on implementing safety-related policies and procedures. Designed for line-level safety supervisors, participants will gain technical knowledge emphasizing the importance of safety and applying a quality management approach to safety program implementation. The Managing Motor Fleet Safety Programs Course provides experienced and prospective transportation safety directors with the vision and skills needed to manage an effective safety program.
