In 2019, the number of remote DOT off-site audits increased by more than 400% over 2018 numbers, and data through Spring of 2020 shows they are on pace to double this year. And, this is before COVID-19 added social distancing to the national lexicon. 

With everyone, including FMCSA and its law enforcement partners, looking for ways to stay safe and efficient, the number of off-site DOT audits will continue to increase.
